Early in the morning at about 06:0 we will head to Siwa Oasis. On the way we will stop by El-Alamein to visit the WW II cemetary and Museum and then proceed to Siwa, arrive in Siwa and check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight stay at your hotel
After breakfast, we visit the Mountain of the Dead (Gebel al-Mawta), which features a large number of tombs carved into the mountain that are dating back to the the 26th Dynasty (664 BC–525 BC) and the Ptolemaic era (305 BC–30 BC), Cleopatra’s Pool, a swimming pool fed by a natural hot spring, the Temple of the Oracle, and finish with Bir Wahed, a sulfurous spring outside Siwa. For the night we camp out in the desert on the shores of the Great Sand Sea.
After cruising around the Great Sand Sea, we return back to Siwa Oasis to visit the ruins of the historic Shali fortress. In the afternoon we can swim at the salt lake and then overnight at your hotel.
After breakfast we return to Cairo, arrive in Cairo at about 5pm
